Connecting to client computers is extremely slow most of the time. It usually takes about 10 seconds to open the connection. It is completely independent of the computers and the network situation. It happens over VPN connections as well as on local gigabit connection when the master and the client computers are on the same gigabit switch (Intel i5s with SSDs and 8Gb Ram). Interestingly, sometimes a connection is established almost instantly. Any idea what should I do?

We are using the latest Veyon and the latest Windows 10, but we are having this problem for a long time on various computers and operating systems.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! 🙂

yes we have the same problem... latest veyon, latest windows (tested on windows 2004 - may update, and now on fresh installation 20H2)!

Is there way to config VNC with slower "bitrate"? In veyon-configurator it isn't...

the highest image quality is not needed, it could be a setting for less data load

I don't think that it has anything to do with image quality, because sometimes the connection is established in a second. 😞

I don't know, I'm looking for the cause, when a lot of computers are connected, then of course it requires more data, so I think that quality could affect the overall performance ... I'm clueless

What is the brand and model of the gigabit switch? Is the switch configured within a stack?
