    We already have UltraVNC pushed out to our endpoints. We use it to remote in and provide assistance.

    I've setup Veyon and have it working when using Builtin VNC Server (UltraVNC). However, with that way, the computers with Veyon installed get the 'Another VNC server is already running. Please unisntall any iTALC or UltraVNC installations or disable the corresponding serves of these products' message pop-up. Still works, but I've read performance can be degraded, and I don't want that pop-up happening.

    When trying to point Veyon to our existing UltraVNC setup, I can't get it to work. Computer preview is a red square and if you hover over it, the message is 'Authentication failed, or access denied'.

    When we use UltraVNC normally before Veyon, we're typically on a Mac using the built-in 'Screen Sharing' application to remote in. Upon remoting in, we're prompted for a password, and we enter a local admin password to get in.

    I'm looking at our existing UltraVNC config file and there are actually two passwords specified.

    It looks like:

    [UltraVNC]
    passwd=password string here
    passwd2=different password string here

    I've tried entering both passwords, same result - 'Authentication failed, or access denied'.

    What am I missing?

      Welp, I feel dumb. The password that needed to be entered in Veyon for the external VNC server was our local admin password. Tried that, working great now.
